Great news, crafters!
Hey Kessy is finally open in Alabang Town Center! If you live in Paranaque, Alabang, or even in Tagaytay, you don’t need to travel all the way to UP Town Center in Quezon City just to buy our art tools and artsy products.
Why did we open another shop? Our mission is to come to crafters wherever they may be and help inspire a new generation of makers. We want South-based makers to have a safe space where they create new things, find special craft materials, and attend unique workshops.
To celebrate our first week, we hosted some workshops!
Aside from providing art tools, the Let’s Be Makers table can be used by anyone. It is full of materials people can borrow to make something. We’ve met a lot of crafters hanging around this common area—young, old, girls, boys, moms, students, and more. It’s inspiring to hear everyone’s stories, getting to know each maker, and discovering their work on a personal level. The simple act of crafting proves there’s always hope to do and be more. No matter how long our days are or what we see in the news, we can create something to help make this nation better and stronger.
We met this cute little boy Ponzi inventing something on the Let’s Be Makers table. He made use of the glitters, paint, paint brushes, craft punchers, and more found on the table. Ponzi added glitters to his work and called the piece “Handsanitizer.”
In the future, we’ll be hosting more crafty events and workshops as well as supporting more independent brands in our After Nine Keeper. Check our website to see our complete list of workshops, and send an email to email@example.com if you want to apply as a seller or workshop instructor. We are excited to craft with you!
