Hi!

Get creative in the kitchen by whipping up a do-it-yourself chai mix. It’s a great way to warm the body on cold, rainy days or to give away as a homemade gift for a big-time tea drinker!

What You Need:
Chai mix:
Cardamom
Cinnamon barks/sticks
Whole cloves
White peppercorn
Star anise
Mixing bowl and spoon
spices-and-empty-tea-bags

Tea bags:
Cloth tea bags (We got ours from a supermarket, but you can sew your own using soft canvas or cheesecloth!)
Hey Kessy Washi Tape*
Sharpie pens*
Colored paper
*You can get these at the Hey Kessy shop online or at UP Town Center.

What to Do:
1. Chop the cardamom. Crush cinnamon barks, whole cloves, white peppercorn, and star anise. Mix everything in a bowl. (Tip: Roast the spices before putting them inside tea bags to make the flavor and aroma stronger!)
